Drawing a Face

Russ drew this on his own. He decided to draw after seeing myedraw a picture for Kay.

He selected red for drawing, blue for the hair, black for one of the ear and I suggested the pale orange for the face.

Just two day ago, Russ came into the study with a frown on his head. I wondered what was bothering him. Without me asking, he said,

" Mummy! Mummy! I am so busy, you know!"

"What are you busy with?" I asked.

"I am so busy colouring!" he said.

Is Adsense worth it?

I have heard so much about Google Adsense and how it can help earn some passive income. I am really curious what kinda passive income it can bring me. So, finally I added it on my blog and hope it's working. It still not appearing on the blog yet. I wonder what's wrong.

Anyways, I really want to know if I can make money from Adsense. So.. here's my target setting.. hahah!

My first target is to earn enough advertisement dollars to buy ..... *think*....
a can of milk powder for Russ.

So to be fair.. my second target would be to earn enough to get a can for Kay as well.

Cross my fingers.

Popo's Kite

I got home in the morning and noticed the kids running outside our apartment.

"Mummy, mummy! Popo's (grandma) made a kite for me." Russ showed me his kite.
Kay continued to run around with her kite and ignore my presence.

"Wow! another kite. This is a picture worthy moment." those were the first thought that cross my mind.

"Popo made the kite for me!" Russ even showed off his kite proudly to our neighbours.

"Popo made the kite for me!" Russ repeated.

After reading this blog, my hubby msg me, "it doesnt matter how good a kite is made as long as they think it's a kite .."

I think it doesn't matter if it's a kite as long as they have fun. Anyways, thank you daddy and popo for ALL the KITE fun they gave the kids. :)

Daddy's Kite

There's a new fad around our neighbourhood. Kite flying! Every evening, We'll see lots of kite in the sky. And lots of people turn up for kite flying over the weekend. It's quite a sight.

My hubby decided to flaunt his kite making skills in front of me and the kids!
"We make our kites when we were young" he said. He was refering to his playtimewith his brothers. Then he blabbered more technical kite making stuff. I felt a bit lost. He gathered some materials and called out to the kids to come watch him.

The Perfect Tiny Kite Made by Daddy!!

This is the tiniest kite I have ever seen. But the kids had so much fun flying it. The string gave way and the kite flew away.

Birthday Card

I had a wonderful birthday! Flowers and dinner with my hubby, cake from my ex-students, card from a friend, well wishes from my friends and colleagues AND wonderful cards from my lovely kids! Thank you, everyone!

No to Chinese Cards

Russ will turn and run when he sees me taking Chinese cards out. Or he will lie down flat on the ground with his face towards the ground when he sees these cards.

These are home-made cards created by my hubby for our kids. We have used them quite successfully for Kay but not for Russ. So far, he's only interested in the word "worm" or "chong(2)". Oh Well... We'll just have to think of other interesting way to intrigue him.

CNY Day 7 - Hamsters for Sale!

My niece is breeding sooo many of them. They are really cute.

CNY Day 1 - Kay Writes

Kay enjoys writing on the board. We are lucky cos she wrote on the whiteboard all night and we were able to have our dinner and chat with relatives.
